ESTABLISHED & GROWING CIVIL / MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING FIRM NEEDS ADDITIONAL TEAM MEMBERS
Paragon Engineering Ltd. is a Port Coquitlam, BC based Consulting Engineering and Project Management firm, formed in 1995, that provides services to Public and Private Sector Clients in the fields of Municipal Engineering and Infrastructure Rehabilitation construction to private and public sector clients in the province of BC in the following principal fields of activity:
· Municipal Infrastructure:
o (Roads, Sanitary & Storm Sewer, Water, including Pumping and Storage Facilities
o Assessment, and Rehabilitation Strategy Selection
o Trenchless – Maintenance and Rehabilitation (Municipal Sewer and Water Systems)
o Trenchless – New Construction (Municipal Sewer and Water Systems)
· Land Development:
o Pre Servicing Feasibility Assessment and Engineering
We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
MUNICIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN / TECHNOLOGIST with 5+ years of experience in:
· Design of municipal projects (water, sewer, road construction / reconstruction) and coordinating AutoCAD drawing preparation;
· Preparation of engineering specifications and drawings, and quantity and cost estimates;
· Coordinating with regulatory agencies and approvals
· Registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada and be eligible for APEGBC or ASTTBC registration in the Province of BC
Candidates must have:
· ability to pay strict attention to detail;
· experience in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment;
· ability to work independently and as part of a team;
· good organizational, prioritizing and time management skills; and
· good verbal and written communication skills.
